  • Can you hear the black cockies call?

This bright and informative book for children, tells about the habitat and feeding grounds of Carnaby’s Black Cockatoo.

The cheeky and extremely beautiful bird lives in the southern part of Western Australia. Its habitat is threatened by the clearing of their feeding grounds and trees old enough to harbour holes in their trunks, in which the birds establish their nests.

Ending on a hopeful note, this story, written in verse, will delight small children and adults alike.
