Our team at Kaarakin
Kaarakin Black Cockatoo Conservation Centre is a primarily volunteer-operated organisation, with more than 100 regular volunteers and just three part-time staff members (who also volunteer as well!). All operations are under the supervision and direction of the Kaarakin Board.
We are not-for-profit
We are an independent not-for-profit organisation
We solely rely on donations, grants, sponsorships and our fundraising activities to run our black cockatoo conservation centre.
XX volunteer hours
We are a dedicated team working towards one ultimate goal
In the past year, our volunteers have dedicated XX hours to the running of our centre. We are dedicated to protect some of WA's endangered and threatened species: black cockatoos only found in the South West corner of Western Australia and the Australian dingoes.
